This is a co-write with Bill Lloyd that was on our “Too Clever” cd also….sung by Patrick Walters. Inspired by the TV show Entourage…..

This tunes was on the “Too Clever By Half” Tones cd. It was the first song I ever wrote on “Napoleon”…my Martin Uke Santa brought me…(thanks Linda). Quirky, as usual…..sorry-it’s just me……actually-not sorry. It’s just me.

My nephew was our biggest fan when he was just a toddler-and somewhere there are pictures of him, directly behind us on stage at Springfest in Charlotte–rocking out with his little guitar along with the band…..(not plugged in of course). His birthday is today and when he was little he thought this song “Forget About May” was us, telling people to not-remember his birthday……funny how kid’s brains work. 🙂 Happy Birthday Greg Bullock! Note: this cut is actually produced by Don Dixon. It was rereleased on Permanent Press Recordings. It received a “Recommended” review in Rolling Stone. Yay!

Jack Cornell and I did the first “Let’s Get Mikey” cd together, which is where I first met Bryan Shumate. By the time we did this solo cd of his I was in love with his voice and spirit enough to ask him to do a duo record together, which became the first VanDeLecki cd. We both share a love for all things Andy Griffith-and that’s where we took our name. (notice the autograph)….:-) We are playing a show together soon-for the first time since………? (yay!)
