A cut penned by Steve and Greg (James) that was on our “Number 9” cd. Very spacey….and non-Beatle. I love this tune. We used my Mac to say lines in the tune….It was also released on Sony in Japan. Yay!

Throughout recent and semi recent Spongetones history we have been lucky enough to be associated with Airmail Records in Japan. Although we were on Sony Japan for years and they were very good to us-Airmail was the only company that ever actually brought us over there to play. They also released the early stuff–AND released the first two Jamie AND Steve releases there, combined onto one disc. This song “Feeling You Watching Me Watching You” was written about a “gear bird” at a Long Player’s show Steve and I did in Nashville who seemed to know every word we sang. Then our imaginations took over (dogs that we are)…..Christine Martinez and I do some of these songs now at our shows–perhaps even this weekend! Yay!

From the second VanDe cd “Ebum Shoobum Shoobum” (that’s just somethin’ we say….) We’ll be doing a rare duo gig in Wilmington NC at Ted’s Fun On The River on June 14th, playing songs from our two Permanent Press Recordings. Yay! I am as proud of these cd’s as anything I can think of. Bryan Shumate wrote and sang this tune.

This here stuff is NOT politically correct-so you have been warned! It was extremely fun to record and produce–all these Bourbon Crow records. I even got to be “Satchel”….their utility beehotch. This is a very cool side project for Wednesday 13 (Murder Dolls, Frankenstein Drag Queens) and Rayen Belchere’ (Ultracyde, Lunatic Candy Kreep) This song “Chick Fil A” would be a national theme….were it not for the foul language……but wtf…!
